I hold an MPhil in English Literature and Linguistics, which gives me a strong foundation in both the artistic and structural aspects of the English language. Over the past five-plus years, I have specialized in teaching Edexcel and IGCSE English curricula, working with students at different levels of proficiency. My teaching experience spans both regular classroom instruction and focused exam preparation. I understand the common challenges students face—whether it's analysing unseen poetry, structuring comparative essays, or mastering summary writing—and I know how to address them systematically. In my sessions, I break down complex concepts into manageable steps. For literature, I guide students in close reading, thematic analysis, and essay organisation. For language papers, I focus on reading comprehension, writer's effects, vocabulary development, and grammatical accuracy. For linguistics, I cover foundational concepts that support both writing and analytical tasks. I believe in consistent practice and targeted feedback. My goal is not just to help students pass exams but to help them gain confidence in using and understanding English effectively. I am available for online classes from 4 PM to 8 PM daily, and I welcome both long-term students for regular learning and short-term students who need intensive exam preparation.
